Henry was born in the Illies, Buncrana, Co. Donegal. Henry died on the 16th March 1934, only 3 weeks after the death of his brother Johnny.

This is the last will and testament of me, Henry Grant of Ballyarton in the County of Londonderry. I leave and bequeath all I may die posessed of to my mother and my sister Mary Jane, including stock and crop to which I am entitled. There is certain stock on the farm which belonged to my brother John who recently died, these should be sold and his just debts paid, and any balance left should be devided between my brothers Patrick and Richard and my sisters Mary Jane and Margaret (Mrs McFeely) I appoint as my executors Albert James Irwin of ??????? and Alexander Connell McCombe of Lettermuck, and I entrust to them all matters in connection with this my willmade in the 12th day of March 1934 (four) Signed Henry Grant Witnesses: Albert James Irwin Alexander Conell McCombe Signed by the said Henry Grant the testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us present at the same time who in his presence, at the request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
