Catherine was born on the 24 Aug 1904, in Pendleton, Umatilla County, Oregon, USA. She was an incredible piano player. She played in a dance band called the Donagh Orchestra in the late 1930's. She later opened a pub in Bridge Street, Carndonagh, called the Oregon Saloon. When this pub closed, she opened a place across the border in Bridgend. She remained in the hospitality trade for most of her life, a tireless worker with a good business sense

Catherine married Eugene "The Master" Gallagher, son of Frank GALLAGHER and Unknown, in Carndonagh, County Donegal, Ulster, Ireland. (Eugene "The Master" Gallagher was born in 1893 in Irvinestown , County Fermanagh, Ireland and died on 31 Aug 1968 in Buncrana, County Donegal, Ulster, Ireland.)

Catherine died in Feb 1996, at age 91
